A social shopping application leveraging a community of 2 million savvy shoppers
The Hunt is a community powered mobile app that is transforming the way that people shop online. By empowering peers to suggest products for each other, The Hunt taps into the personal shopper inside all of us and creates a positive community centered on fashion and individual style. People interact on The Hunt by posting a photo of an item that they’re looking for, along with specific requirements such as budget and size. The Hunt community uses their shopping prowess to suggest products that meet the Hunt criteria.
Since The Hunt’s launch in 2013, it has accumulated 2,000,000 registered users who have joined over 50 million Hunts. The Hunt was featured as a “Best New Lifestyle” app by Apple, rated as one of InStyle’s “Best of Digi” in 2013, and featured by Refinery29 and The Zoe Report.
Mondo was engaged early on to create the very popular fashion and personal style community’s Android application. A design was established that was consistent with the existing Hunt brand and that leveraged the newly released Android Material design patterns.
